Sassamon Trace Golf Course, a municipal 9-hole golf course, seeks a Part Time Club House Supervisor to work mornings, afternoons and weekend shifts. Flexible schedule, 19 hours per week.

Hiring Range: $19.00- $19.98 per hour depending on experience.

Job Summary:

The Clubhouse Supervisor will oversee and manage the golf operation and work cooperatively with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. The position will promote an exceptional "golf experience” by providing a high level of service and attention to all patrons.

Essential Duties:

  • Supervise and manage the total golf operation in a professional and efficient manner in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant General Manager

  • Manage and communicate the handicap program to all users

  • Provide excellent customer service, advice and assistance to all patrons

  • Control and manage play

  • Operate POS

  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times

  • Be informed on and promote all club activities and services

  • Assist in managing tournaments and outings

  • Maintain clubhouse in a neat and orderly fashion

  • Insure that there is always fresh drinking water available on the golf course

  • Supervise activities of the Starters

  • Carry out all assignments of Manager and Assistant Manager

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • 1 years’ experience in golf operations and 3 years customer service experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.

  • Must be comfortable with Windows 10 for PC and Microsoft Office Professional

Abilities:

  • Ability to work as a team member

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time.

  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.
