Lifeguard

This is a seasonal, non-benefitted, full-time position from mid-June through mid-August with up to 40 hours per
week. Lifeguards ensure safety at the three City of Framingham Beaches. Candidates should enjoy working outdoors
as well as working with the public. Applicants must have open availability including weekends and holidays. Position
includes supervising the general conduct of beach patrons, preventing and responding to emergencies, and
performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary and assigned by supervisor. Lifeguards perform under the
supervision of Head Guard, Beach Director, Activities Supervisor, and Superintendent of Recreation. Opportunities
for advancement are available for those who show leadership, experience, and initiative.
