Summer Camp/Program Supervisor

Under the direction of the Southborough Recreation Department, the Camp Supervisor will be responsible for the staff, programming, and overall operations of his/her assigned program. The supervisor will manage up to 30 part-time staff, counselors in training, and volunteers when acceptable. Working with the department's Program Coordinator, the supervisor will develop daily curriculum, implement programming, supervise, and evaluate. As the point person of the program, the supervisor will be tasked with ensuring the program is safe, accessible, and rewarding to all registered participants. This is a seasonal position with an expectation of working 8-10 weeks during the summer.

• Develop curriculum, implement & supervise daily camp activities,
• Delegate responsibilities to Staff (Asst. Supervisors and Counselors)
• Record keeping of all camp paperwork
• Successfully communicate with parents, guardians, caretakers, and staff.
• Attend off-site field trips weekly to ensure a successful outcome
• Evaluate Asst. Supervisors and Counselors twice a summer.
• Implement and uphold department and safety policies
• Inventory all equipment at the season's close. Communicate with Recreation office when additional supplies are needed.
