Water Safety Instructor (WSI)

Instructs swim classes for all ages and ability levels as assigned by Swim Lesson Coordinator

Evaluate, test and certify swimming achievements according to dictates of the Red Cross; maintain daily attendance

Stays up-to-date on all current teaching progressions and stroke techniques

Prepare proper Red Cross records in the Swim Lesson Resource manual

Addresses parental concerns on child’s swim lesson progress
